The new Grand Seiko automatic Caliber 9S27 perfectly balances high performance and size in a way that only a true manufacture can achieve. Despite its diminutive dimensions, the movement's specifications are outstanding, with a precision rate of +8 to -3 seconds a day and a power reserve of 50 hours. Each movement is manufactured, assembled, and adjusted by hand at Studio Shizukuishi in northern Japan and enjoys the same level of craftsmanship that goes into every other Grand Seiko mechanical watch.
The 18k rose gold case of STGK006 is Zaratsu polished to give the timepiece the sparkle of quality that is Grand Seiko's signature. 42 diamonds are set into the bezel, and 12 are set into the delicately engraved mother-of-pearl dial. One additional larger diamond is set into the crown.
